How refunds work for services and products from MavlenLabs.
This Refund Policy applies to all services and products provided by MavlenLabs, a sole proprietorship operated by Aditya Kumar Gaur, based in New Delhi, India ("MavlenLabs," "we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or purchasing our products, you agree to this policy together with our Terms and Conditions at mavlenlabs.com/terms.
1. Nature of our offerings
We offer two types of products:
- (a) Custom services - including web development, mobile apps, AI products, and related digital services. Work is tailored to your specific requirements based on a signed Statement of Work (SOW).
- (b) Digital templates - pre-built website and app templates sold through our website as one-time digital downloads.
Different refund rules apply to each, as described below.
2. Refunds for custom services
Custom services involve significant time, planning, and resource allocation from our team. The following rules apply:
Before work has started:
If you cancel a project in writing before we have begun any substantive work (discovery, design, or development), we may, at our discretion, issue a partial refund of amounts paid, minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred (for example, third-party tools, licenses, or assets purchased for your project). Alternatively, we may apply credits toward future work as agreed in writing.
After work has started:
Once work has begun on any phase or milestone, payments for that phase are non-refundable. Milestone payments compensate for the time and resources already committed to your project.
After delivery:
Refunds are not provided for completed and accepted deliverables, or where delays or dissatisfaction result from incomplete client feedback, unavailable assets, missed timelines on the client's side, or scope changes - unless your specific SOW says otherwise.
Milestone Based Payments
Our custom projects are structured around milestones to ensure transparency and iterative progress. Each milestone payment represents a commitment of resources and expertise.
3. Refunds for templates
All template purchases are final and non-refundable.
Templates are digital products delivered immediately upon payment. Previews, screenshots, and demos are available on every product page so you can evaluate the template before purchase. Please review them carefully before completing your purchase.
Exceptions:
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund if:
- The template files were not delivered due to a technical issue on our end and we are unable to resolve it within 7 days
- The template is fundamentally broken and we are unable to provide a working version
We do not refund based on:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Compatibility issues with third-party tools, plugins, or hosting providers we have not certified
- Lack of technical skill to use the template
- Customizations or modifications you wish to make
4. Quality concerns and disputes
If you believe our work does not match what was agreed in your signed SOW, please contact us at hello@mavlenlabs.com within 7 days of delivery. We will review your concerns in good faith and work with you to resolve them according to the revisions and acceptance terms in your contract.
Resolution Process
Requesting a refund does not replace the resolution process set out in your SOW. We are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with the final outcome.
5. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we may:
- Immediately suspend all work and access to deliverables
- Withhold transfer of source code, design files, and intellectual property
- Pursue available legal remedies under Indian law

6. Third-party fees
Fees paid directly to third parties - including hosting providers, domain registrars, AI API providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), stock asset libraries, payment gateways, and similar - are subject to those vendors' own refund policies. We do not control or guarantee refunds for third-party services.
7. Currency and payment method
Refunds, when issued, will be processed in the same currency and through the same payment method as the original transaction, within 7-14 working days. Foreign exchange differences, payment gateway fees, and bank charges are not refundable.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. The policy in effect at the time of your engagement or purchase will apply to that transaction.
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Delhi, India.
